About Me

My name is Patrick-Jay, and I have been capturing beautiful memories through my lens for over a decade. I was born in Paarl but grew up in the small town of Vanrhynsdorp on the West Coast. Currently, I reside in the stunning Bloubergstrand area and travel all over to capture life's precious moments.

Apart from being a photographer, I am an animal lover and a coffee enthusiast. There's nothing like a hot, strong cup of java to start my day right. When I am not photographing weddings or engagement sessions, I enjoy taking long drives along the West Coast to immerse myself in nature. I also love spending time outdoors, taking long walks along the beach, hiking Table Mountain, or exploring nature reserves.

I am a self-taught photographer who fell in love with photography in 2006 when I bought my first camera. Although I didn't know much about photography, I was drawn to it and captivated by the ability to capture smiles and create cherished memories. Today, every day with my camera in hand is a new learning experience.

My photography style isn't limited to a certain genre. However, I prefer using natural light and creating a bright and airy feel in my photos. I believe that my style depends on the mood of the moment and what will complement the person in front of my lens.

Over the years, I have gained the necessary knowledge and experience to capture any person or event. I am excited to be a part of your special day and capture memories that will last a lifetime.
